Dear friends,

During the month ahead, we will have some very special celebrations in our church.

On June 6, we celebrate Confirmation Sunday.  Confirmation is an affirmation of baptism and it is the rite through which our youth become full members of the church.

It has been a true joy to get to know our youth better through the Confirmation classes and activities.  I want to thank all six students for your commitment to the process and for your willingness to participate fully in class and also in the leadership of worship for special services.

I also want to thank the parents of our students for your great support and Evelyn Sambolin, who helped as our second adult during classes.

Please join us for Confirmation Sunday, as we welcome Emily, Kristina, Angela, Sarah, Ryan and Ryan into the membership of our church.

A Prayer for our Confirmands:

In love, God calls you to this day,

And gives you strength, these vows to say;

Take up the faith that you were shown,

And grow, assured you are God’s own.
